Heimdall Power signs contract with BKK

We are happy to announce that Heimdall Power will now help one of Norway's biggest DSOs, BKK, to operate their power grid smarter than ever before.

By utilizing Dynamic Line Rating technology provided by Heimdall Power, BKK will now be able to increase transmission capacity in critical parts of their grid in an easy, fast and cost-effective way.

BKK is operating in the city of Bergen and surrounding municipalities in the western part of Norway, where they deliver electricity to more than 450 000 people every day.  

Their region of operation is already experiencing multiple issue due to a heavily congested grid, a situation that is poised to grow in severity over the coming years.

Going forward the solutions provided by Heimdall Power will contribute to making BKK’s grid more robust, resilient, and ready to meet the demands of the future.  

With this new contract, we at Heimdall Power now have all the biggest DSOs in Norway on our customer list. Our CEO, Jørgen Festervoll, looks forward to a good collaboration with BKK:

Heimdall Code of Conduct

The Supplier is to hold and maintain at all times the Heimdall Code of Conduct addressing human rights, worker rights, the environment and corruption.

The Supplier must acknowledge HP’s Code of Conduct in all new contractual arrangements. The Supplier must do this by signing the HP Compliance Letter (exhibit).

The Supplier is obligated to communicate the contents of Compliance Letter (Exhibit) to related entities and subcontractors who support the Supplier in supplying goods, works or services on behalf of HP. This will ensure that subcontractors conduct their business in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

If requested by HP, the Supplier must provide evidence and confirmation of its compliance with the Compliance Letter (Exhibit), including by providing documents and records in support of its compliance.
